Needing four goals to reach 100 for her varsity career, Hannah Wist of Edmeston/Morris reached that milestone in the first half of Tuesday’s 10-0 shutout of Franklin.
E/M scored seven goals in the first half to cruise to victory in a rematch of last year’s Section IV Class D title game.
Wist finished the game with five goals and one assist while Amira Ross scored twice and Sophie Robinson, Brenna Bolton and Elle Nichols had one goal apiece.
Abby White made five saves to earn the shutout while Macey Beers had nine stops for Franklin.
E/M (9-2-1) will visit Laurens on Thursday while Franklin (8-3) will host Afton/Harpursville on Friday.
Milford 4, Schenevus 1
Milford took down Schenevus 4-1 in a Tri-Valley League battle on Tuesday.
Kara Mertz scored twice for the Wildcats while Zoey Stanley and Lily Cohn each found the back of the net as well.
Sam Barrett had the only goal of the game for Schenevus.
Bella Qua had six saves for Milford while Schenevus’ Leah Brundege also made six stops.
Milford (5-6) will visit Windham-Ashland-Jewett on Friday while Schenevus (7-6) will host Gilboa/Roxbury on Thursday.
South Kortright 3, Walton/Downsville 1
South Kortright topped Walton/Downsville 3-1 at home on Tuesday.
Jaylee Kelly scored twice in the win, Madysen Reeves also had a goal and Annlyse Haynes notched an assist.
Lyliana Henderson scored for W/D while Hannah Bell had an assist.
Addy Eckert made four saves in the win for SK.
South Kortright improves to 8-1 while Walton/Downsville drops to 2-8.

Gilbertsville-Mount Upton blanked Worcester 4-0 on the road Tuesday in Tri-Valley League action.
Alyssa Sorochinsky scored all four goals in the win for the Raiders. Alexis Davis made two saves to earn the clean sheet while Worcester’s Melanie Filetti made 12 stops.
G-MU (3-8) will be at Oxford on Friday while Worcester (0-12) will host Cherry Valley-Springfield/Sharon Springs on Saturday for its Homecoming game.

Oneonta dropped a 4-0 decision to Owego Free Academy on Tuesday.
Ashlyn Dalton netted a hat trick for Owego. Oneonta’s Desi Wheeler finished with 13 saves.

The Delhi volleyball team climbed out of a two-set hole to defeat Bainbridge-Guilford in five sets on Tuesday by scores of 24-26, 16-25, 27-25, 25-16, 15-10.
Leading Delhi in the win were Giorgia Dewitt (14 kills, 8 digs, 5 aces, 3 assists), Rebecca Verspoor (27 assists, 8 digs, 12 kills), Cary Guy (11 kills, 9 digs, 5 aces), Brinley Wager (6 digs, 4 kills), Alessia Ghersi (11 digs, 4 kills) and Peyton Maney (7 digs, 6 kills).

The Oneonta girls swim team improved to 4-0 on the season Tuesday with a 76-45 victory over Greene in which the Yellowjackets placed first in every event.
Kinnley Wightman, Addison Rothenberger and Adella Koehn each had two individual wins: Wightman won the 200 and 500 freestyle swims, Rothernberger placed first in the 200 individual medley and 100 breaststroke and Koehn won both the 50 and 100 free races.
Also winning for OHS were Adriana Ploutz in diving, Madeleine Wolff in the 100 butterfly and Kaylen Turley in the 100 backstroke.
Oneonta will visit Waverly next Tuesday.
