HAVERHILL — Windham High made it a Granite State sweep of the Haverhill Christmas Hockey Tournament.
And the Jaguars did it with authority.
For the second straight night on the Veterans Arena ice, Windham did not allow a goal, skating to the Guptill Division championship with a 6-0 win over Nashoba Regional.
“We didn’t really know any of these teams, we just kind of came in as we could, trying to beat any team that came by,” said Jags senior captain Casey Kramer, the tourney Most Valuable Player.
“We’ve got a great group of seniors, and we’ve been playing well lately. It’s just great to see us come together. It’s good for the team. Christmas Tournament, so we’re running just about everybody. It’s just good to see everybody rolling and that we’re on the same page.”
Windham led 3-0 after one period and 6-0 through two.
A dozen different Jaguars found their way onto the scoresheet in the title win, led by senior Nate Crowley with a pair of goals.
Austin Mulrenan (1 assist), Hunter Marcin, AJ Martino and Joey Gilbert all scored goals. Kramer and Seamus Ross each had a pair of assists, while Rocco Mancini, Aiden Quaglietta, Keegan Sullivan, Andy Sylvain and Josh Martino all had one.
Coming off a Ben Breen shutout in the 5-0 opener vs. Wilmington, Roberto Robles posted the perfect night in goal for the Jags.
“We were just working on the systems, touching things up and going seamlessly back into the regular season,” said Kramer.
Windham is off to a 2-1 start in New Hampshire Division I, coming off wins over traditionally strong Bedford and Bishop Guertin. The Jags return to action on Wednesday at Dover.
“The sky is the limit with us,” said Kramer. “We’ve got a good group of seniors and a good group of young guys as well.”
