Pingree 1, Lawrence Academy 0: Ari Schwinn netted the game’s lone goal to send the Highlanders (19-2-1) into the NEPSAC Class B semifinals. Pingree moves on to face Brooks next, a team they tied during the regular season.
FIELD HOCKEY
Pingree 1, Newton Country Day 0: Playing for the third time this season, the sixth seeded Highlanders got an 8-save shutout from senior captain Sadie Canelli and the team-leading 12th goal from sophomore Alexa Blaeser to prevail in this NEPSAC Class C quarterfinal. Pingree, now 11-9-1, will face third seeded Kimball Union in the semifinals Saturday.

Green Farms 3, Pingree 2: The Highlanders (10-4-2) saw their season come to a close in the NEPSAC Class C quarterfinal.
Hyde 5, Covenant Christian 0: The Cougars were shut out in the NEPSAC Class D quarterfinals, effectively ending their season.
MEN’S COLLEGE BASKETBALL
Endicott 85, MIT 63: The Gulls moved to 1-1 on the season behind 20 points and five assists from Jeff Hill. Ty Vitko added 17 points with five rebounds, three assists and three steals while Elijah Kinney went for 13 points and nine boards.
