Washington Savings Bank recently welcomed Justin Roley to its lending team as Vice President of Commercial Lending.
Justin joined the team on Oct. 30, and will be serving the Mattoon market area. As a commercial lender, Justin will be responsible for managing the commercial loan portfolio in the Mattoon market, as well as helping business customers with any of their needs.
Born and raised locally, Roley graduated from Cumberland High School in 1999 and then went on to earn his Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Eastern Illinois University in 2004. He joins the team with experience working in IT, Management and Lending, bringing 16 years of knowledge in the banking industry.
Some of his past roles and responsibilities within the local community organizations include President of the Effingham County United Way; former elder, deacon and chairman of Toledo Christian Church, former trustee for the Village of Greenup; former Cumberland CEO Board Member; and Advisory Member of the Effingham County Big Brothers and Big Sisters.
Roley looks most forward to being a more active part of the Mattoon business community.
“As an EIU graduate, and a local to the area, I have seen the amazing growth of Mattoon as a regional economic center and as a leader for educational innovation. I love that I am going to be able to join a great team like Washington Savings Bank and contribute to the fantastic community of Mattoon. This is a real blessing for my family and I.” he said.
