Whittier 14, Greater Lowell 2
Conor Walsh was immense on the attack with five goal and four assists. Reese Owens had five goals, while Bodie Marcotte pitched in a pair with two assists. Eric Talley posted 11 faceoff wins, and Vincenzo Foster had 10 saves for the win in goal.
Essex Tech 13, Haverhill 12
The Hillies couldn’t hold an 8-5 halftime lead. Pat McGowan netted four goals and passed out five assists for the Hillies. Jake Staples netted five goals, and Ty Lescord had a pair with his two assists. Max Boyer made 20 saves in net.
Girls Lacrosse
Central Catholic 12, Norwell 7
Abby Yfantopulos stepped off the hardwood onto the turf and immediately found her game with three goals, an assist and four draw controls for the winners. Olivia Rondeau scored three goals, while Nicolette Licare, Sarah Wilson and Kerri Finneran had two each. Anne Cashman made eight saves for the win.
Boston Latin 20, Methuen 11
Kiera Fitzpatrick scored four times, and Kate Fitzpatrick delivered three goals for the Rangers. Brooke Carter had a pair of goals, while Allie Bolduc and MJ Petisce had singles.
Girls Tennis
North Andover 5, Amesbury 0
Tika Roy rallied from a set down, taking the second in a tie-breaker then prevailing in the third at first singles for the Knights. Sophia Yee and Jocelyn Jankowski coasted in singles. Callie Dias teamed with Ena Deasy at first doubles, while Kendall Wolfe and Palomi Nihalini rolled at second doubles.
Boys Tennis
Windham 7, Oyster River 2
Tim Wang and Gilbert Feke were sharp in the top two singles spots, then teamed to win the top doubles match for the Jaguars. Shayan Biswas rallied from down 4-7 to win 9-7 at the No. 4 spot. Ben Carullo and Russell Adler posted sharp wins.
Volleyball
Greater Lawrence Tech 3, Innovation 0
The Reggies improved to 1-1 in three straight, 25-19, 25-17, 25-17.
Anthony Rubim served 12 points and dished out 13 assists in the win. Joel De La Rosa had six kills, and Keegan Doherty stood out defensively with 11 digs. Sai Silfa (2 aces) and Kelvince Heang (3 blocks) pitched in for the nice win.
Lowell Catholic 3, Lawrence 1
The Lancers took the opening set but could not sustain as Lowell Catholic spoiled the opener. Duy Tran paced Lawrence with 10 kills and four service aces. Josh Joaquin passed out 18 assists.

Pinkerton 111.67, Portsmouth 50.33,
Bishop Guertin 32
The Pinkerton boys swept the throws events with Joseph Packowski winning the shot put and discus and Charlie Franks winning the Javelin. Pinkerton also won the triple jump with Ryan James (40-4.5). Jamison Isaac won the long jump in 20-5.75.
Matt Morrison took the 200 in 22.72, while Caden Michaud added the 400 win in 51.94. John Child sped to the win in the 110 hurdles at 15.80.
