Walker Porter traveled to Daytona earlier this month for the Steve Nace All-Star Series of Flat Track Racing.
The event was held at the Daytona Speedway Short Track, just outside of the famous Daytona International Speedway, and Porter won all three races — 250-plus open, 450 modified and 450 heavyweight — in which he competed.
Porter signed a contract with the Honda Turner Racing Pro Team earlier this year — but is unable to turn pro until 2025.
His focus now is on the AMA Grand Nationals, which take place in July in DuQuoin, Ill. and are known as the Super Bowl of Flat Track of amateurs.
Porter is also a contender for the prestigious Horizon Award, given to the top amateur in the country who will turn pro the following year.
