Join the Dogwood Exchange on Wednesday, July 17, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to kick off the 2024 pajama making season. This will be the third year making pajamas for the House of Hope’s Angel Tree Program benefitting local children in need during the holidays.
Workdays will be scheduled every third Wednesday of each month to cut out pajama patterns for sizes 2T-14. You do not need to know how to sew to be of assistance. If you are a sewer, you will be able to pick up kits to sew at home as in previous years or you are welcome to sew at the store on workdays.
Fabric donations are also welcome. Fabric must be cotton or flannel. Younger prints need to be a yard or more and the more mature prints at least 2-3 yards. Cash will not be accepted. Fabric donations can be dropped off at Dogwood Exchange during business hours.
Volunteers may bring a snack or drink to consume during workdays. Help make this Christmas special for a child in Cumberland County.
The Dogwood Exchange is at 4950 Hwy. 127 S in Crossville, a half mile south of Cumberland Mountain State Park. To register, please go to www.dogwoodexchange.com. For more information, please call 931-787-5838.
