HAVERHILL — Don’t miss out on your last chance to donate before the festivities begin.
Buttonwoods Museum’s Festival of Trees is around the corner, from Nov. 29 to Dec. 15. Before the fundraising festival begins, the event organizers host a holiday donation drop-off every year.
This year’s drop-off, after a week-long extension, comes to a close Sunday, Nov. 17. To donate to the Festival of Trees, visit the Buttonwoods Museum at 240 Water St. from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Bring by a tree, wreath, or centerpiece to be submitted into a raffle.
The Festival of Trees is an annual fundraiser that distributes the community’s generous donations through a raffle at the end of the event.
Winners will be contacted by phone and given instruction on when to collect their prize. Raffle tickets are sold at the entrance of the Buttonwoods Museum for $1 each, 6 for $5, and 25 for $20.
Other events include the Candlelight Tour, a holiday concert, art demonstrations by the Greater Haverhill Art Association, holiday carolers, and the return of the “Holiday Jubilation” night.
There will also be a silent auction with additional holiday donations.
Proceeds raised during the festival benefit the Buttonwoods Museum, helping maintain the property and fund educational programs.
