The Cape Ann Climate Coalition is sponsoring a webinar with state Senate Minority Leader Bruce Tarr of Gloucester when he will describe major climate actions and initiatives at the state level.
The public is invited to a Zoom session Tuesday, Jan. 30, from 5 to 6 p.m., to hear what this all means for Cape Ann residents and businesses.
Tarr represents Cape Ann and other communities on the North Shore. He sits on the Telecommunications, Utilities and Energy Committee (TUE) that reviews most of the climate bills the Legislature proposes.
This will be the coalition’s second annual review with the senator about the status of proposed climate mitigation and adaptation legislation and prospects for funding. The Healey administration and the Legislature will be hammering out the details of bills and a fiscal year 2025 budget over the next five to 6 months.
A link to register for this webinar is provided on the Cape Ann Climate Coalition website, capeannclimatecoalition.org.
