A medical office on Saunders Settlement Road remained open after an SUV crashed into the building Friday morning.
The Niagara County Sheriff’s Office says it was notified of the accident about 10:20 a.m. on the 3800 block of Saunders Settlement Road.
Responding deputies said the driver of the ’23 Ford Escape told them they were pulling into a parking spot at the business and thought they were hitting the vehicle’s brakes but instead hit the accelerator and the SUV drove into the building.
No injuries were reported in the business but the driver and a passenger were taken to Lockport Memorial Hospital for evaluation of minor injuries.
The Town of Cambria Building Inspector also responded to assess the building. There is no damage estimate available and the business did not have to cease operations.
