The Town of Porter’s Summerfest is back this weekend from 3 to 10 p.m. Saturday at Porter-on-the-Lake Park on Dietz Road.
The yearly summer festival is organized by the town with all proceeds going toward maintaining Porter-on-the-Lake Park.
For music, the Artificial Hip, a Tragically Hip tribute band, will start it off at 3 p.m., with country recording artist and Niagara Falls native JB Aaron performing at 6 p.m.
For kids, there will be bounce houses, a petting zoo, clowns blowing balloons and painting faces, and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
Food and merchandise vendors will be on hand along with groups like the Youngstown Free Library, the Lewiston Kiwanis Club, the Youngstown Lions Club, and local fire companies setting up booths.
Skydivers coming in from Skydive the Falls will also parachute into the park.
The day will end with fireworks at 9:30 p.m.
