Vermilion County Board member Steve Miller (District 2) has been elected Chairman of the Board while Timothy McFadden (District 4) was elected Vice Chairman. Both will serve two-year terms.
Though former Chairman Larry Baughn (District 1) was nominated to maintain his position by a motion and a second, he declined the offer.
After an extensive election process, the Board also selected Baughn, McFadden, Miller, Christina Walls, and James McMahon to form the Committee on Committees.
