Dunham, Griffin on hill for Northeastern
It is North Andover Day on the mound for Northeastern University when it hosts nearby Merrimack College in Brookline at 3 p.m. today.
Two NAHS grads, junior Brett Dunham (starter) and sophomore Ryan Griffin (reliever) are expected to see action in the non-conference tilt.
Dunham is trying to work his way into the top four starters while Griffin is trying to do the same as a key reliever.
Northeastern is 13-5 and ranked among the top 50 programs in the country.
Travel to St. Louis for Sox
Riteway Travel of Methuen has put together a nice long weekend trip to St. Louis to see the Red Sox meet the Cardinals on Fri. May 17 to Mon. May 20.
The three night trip includes hotel at the Marriott in downtown St. Louis, walking distance to the park and tickets to two games on Saturday and Sunday. The Saturday game will be in a suite with food and beverage.

Harmeling gets another shot
Former Andover Country Club golfer Evan Harmeling has earned another shot at PGA Tour event this week after his top 10 finish at Puerto Rico Open two weeks ago.
Harmeling, 35, was a Monday qualifier for that event, his first-ever PGA Tour event. He finished tied for 10th, which earned him a berth into the next event, which begins on Thursday at Valspar Championship in Palm Harbor, Fla.
Endicott baseball No. 1
The Endicott baseball team, off to an impressive 10-0 start, has been ranked No. 1 overall in the latest D3baseball.com Top-25 poll.
It marks the first time an Endicott varsity program has earned a No. 1 national ranking in school history.
The previous school record was No. 2, set by the men’s ice hockey program and matched by the baseball team earlier this year.
Endicott has two prominent locals from the Merrimack Valley in junior first baseman Elijah Moses of Haverhill (.261, 3 RBI) and freshman pitcher Matt Pappalardo (1 IP, 0 R, 1 K).
Brickley, Edwards in Methuen
Boston Bruins NESN broadcasters Jack Edwards and Andy Brickley will be signing autographs this Sunday, March 24 at the VFW Hall in Methuen.
The long-time broadcasting duo will be at the monthly Sports Card Show event at 26 River Street.
They will be signing from 10 a.m. until noon. The autographs cost $15 with inscriptions and photo ops each costing $5. Mail-ins cost $15.
The card show runs from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. with over 40 dealer tables of sports memorabilia.
