TIFTON — Tift County announced Friday morning that the 2024 Soap Bowl has been canceled.
On Instagram, school athletic accounts posted: “Due to the condition of our playing surfaces and to ensure the safety of our players, this year’s Soap Bowl has been canceled.”
Donations are still welcomed. Tift football said it would accept donated laundry detergent dropped off at the front office of TIft County High. OxiClean is preferred.
