Slight earthquake near Dalton

Sone Whitfield County residents may have felt a slight tremor just before noon on Sunday.
The U.S. Geological Survey reports that a 2.2 magnitude earthquake struck about five miles south by southwest of Dalton around 11:45 a.m. The depth was about nine miles.
