The Schenevus baseball team took down Gilboa/Roxbury 7-4 at home on Wednesday in a non-league matchup.
Ryan Spranger picked up the win on the mound for the Dragons after working five innings while Jackson Reed notched a two-inning save.
At the plate, Owen Green went 2-for-3 with a triple and three RBI while Tim Green was 2-for-2 with an RBI and three runs scored.
Brayden Carr registered a double for Gilboa/Roxbury while Garrison Ross and David Cammer combined to allow five hits on the mound.
Schenevus (8-1) will host Bainbridge-Guilford on Friday. Gilboa/Roxbury drops to 1-4.
Oneonta 2, Norwich 0
Oneonta held off Norwich 2-0 on the road Wednesday in a pitcher’s duel that featured just three combined hits between the two teams.
Nolan Stark threw a one-hit shutout for the Yellowjackets, striking out 12 batters and taking a no-hitter into the seventh inning.
Tanner Tubia’s RBI single in the third inning proved to be the go-ahead score for Oneonta, which added an insurance run in the seventh on a wild pitch. Brady Carr had the team’s other base hit.
Collin Reid was outstanding in the loss for Norwich, racking up 10 strikeouts in six innings.
Oneonta (7-1) and Norwich will conclude their three-game series on Friday at Oneonta.

South Kortright 19, Walton/Downsville 18 (Tuesday)
South Kortright rallied from a nine-run deficit to defeat Walton/Downsville 19-18 in a wild non-league contest on Tuesday.
The Rams trailed 18-9 entering the bottom of the sixth inning after W/D scored 10 runs in the top of the sixth. But SK cut the deficit to 18-15 entering the seventh and scored four runs in the final frame to secure the win.
Carlee Dropp had two hits including a three-run home run in the victory, Jaylee Kelly had four hits including a double and Lilly Temple had a triple and a double.
For W/D, Addalyn Strub finished a home run shy of the cycle, Lo Robinson had two hits including a triple and Mackenzie Roach had a single and a double.
South Kortright (3-0) will be at Windham-Ashland-Jewett on Thursday while W/D (1-7) will visit Unadilla Valley/Gilbertsville-Mount Upton on Monday.

The Cooperstown golf team opened its season on Wednesday with a 174-191 victory over Mount Markham at Cedar Lake Club.
Brayden Sentz led the Hawkeyes with a round of 40, Jackson Crisman and Thomas Hellenthal each shot 44 and Ben Lewis carded a 46.
Cooperstown will be at Herkimer next Tuesday.
