METHUEN — The Woods at Merrimack, a retirement community at 197-199 Howe St., celebrated Veterans Day with a special breakfast event.
More than 30 veterans joined together for the gathering which featured an official proclamation from Gov. Maura Healey, certificates and gifts recognizing each veteran’s service.
On hand were Acting Mayor D. J. Beauregard, Methuen Veterans Affairs Director Paul Jensen and Tina Hardy, volunteer services manager for Tufts Medicine Care at Home.
