BUCKLEY — Frankfort beat Buckley 61-55 in boys basketball action Friday, following a historic win by the Bears’ girls team earlier in the day as part of a tripleheader.
Carter Kerby scored 27 points, with Tristin Griffin adding 13, Eli Lietaert nine and Cash Rosum eight rebounds in the boys victory.
Landon Kulawiak led all scorers with 28 points, while Theron McEachern added six for the Bears.
The Buckley girls downed Frankfort for the first time in at least 17 years in a game rescheduled from Thursday because of weather. More details on that game below.
