ANN ARBOR — The Traverse City Bay Reps varsity girls hockey team finished up its weekend slate of games on the road with a 2-0 victory over Washtenaw at the Ann Arbor Ice Cube on Sunday.
The Reps went 2-1 on their road trip, besting Mid-Michigan Midland on Friday and falling in overtime to Orchard Lake St. Mary on Saturday to improve to 6-3 on the season.
Paisleigh Upshaw continued her tremendous season for the Bay Reps, scoring in the first period on an assist from Katherine Classens to make it 1-0. Upshaw scored three times in the three weekend games after a two-goal performance in Friday’s 5-3 win.
Adelaide Feeley lit the lamp for the Reps on an unassisted goal in the third to give the Reps some breathing room down the stretch in the shutout victory.
Adriana Delcore was spectacular between the pipes for the Reps, turning away all 27 shots she faced Sunday.
The Reps get back into action this coming weekend when they welcome Kingswood Cranbrook to Howe Area for back-to-back games on Friday and Saturday. Friday’s puck-drop is set for 7:30 p.m., and Saturday’s game begins at 1 p.m.
Coming up Jan. 19-21, the Bay Reps will be part of the Girls Showcase at the 10th Annual TC Challenge at Centre Ice Arena.

Huskies win ESKY Invite
ESCANABA — Saturday’s marathon action at the Escanaba ESKY Invitational went beyond 10 p.m., missing the Record-Eagle’s 8 p.m. prep deadline, but Benzie Central’s performance cannot go unrecognized.
The Huskies took first place as tournament champions, racking up 284 points — nearly 100 more than runner-up Lakewood at 186.
Benzie wrestlers also took home a wealth of individual titles as Cage Edingfield (106 pounds), Dayne Gillison (113 pounds), Dalton Geetings (150 pounds) and Michael Pfeiffer (190 pounds) all won the championship in their respective weight brackets.
Those taking second place for the Huskies were Benjamin Deridder at 120 pounds and Joe Morse at 150 pounds. Third-place finishers for Benzie were Nathan Higgins (132), Jacob Gillison (138), Owen Cruden (144), Tyrone Brouillet (165) and Ryan Kincaid (285).
Lane Sanchez took fourth at 215 pounds. Fifth place at 157 pounds went to Conner Wenkel. Aiden Erfourth took sixth at 165 pounds, and Irvin Meachum took eighth in his weight class.
The Benzie Central B squad took 13th out of the 27 teams at the meet.

Ramblers 2-0 at Gaylord Invite
GAYLORD — The Boyne City varsity boys bowling team went 2-0 on Saturday, starting off the season on a good note.
The Ramblers knocked off Petoskey, 27.5-2.5, and then defeated the host Blue Devils, 22-8.
Boyne had a high Baker game of 224 against the Northmen and saw high individual games from Johnathan Shepherd (211), Zach Piechan (200), Liam Dart (196), Eric Mansfield (194) and Timothy Aemmer (186).
Against Gaylord, the Ramblers’s high Baker game was 166 with high-game performances from Shepherd (202), Mansfield (187), Lukas McLeod (176), Piechan (176), Dart (175) and Tim Payton (153).
