LAKE CITY — The Bisballes have been hard to stop this season for anyone playing the Lake City girls varsity basketball team.
Division 3 No. 7-ranked Lake City (8-2, 6-1 Highland Conference) had a dominating performance Wednesday from Allie and MacKenzie Bisballe, who contributed to the Trojans 68-34 win against No. 8 Manton (8-2, 5-1 Highland).
Alie racked up 22 points and 16 rebounds and MacKenzie dropped 31 points, six blocks, three assists and three steals. Lake City got four points each from Payton Hogan, Hannah Vasicek and Baylie Eisenga.
The Trojans’ win over Manton extended their winning streak against the Rangers to three games. Lake City and Manton won’t meet again until Feb 16. in Manton.
Manton got contributions from Lauren Wilder (12 points), Aubrey Hiller (11 points), Rylyn Wilder (seven points) and Angela Porter (seven rebounds).
The Trojans look to extend their winning streak to nine games Friday at McBain. The Rangers host Houghton Lake on Friday.
