FITHIAN — The Oakwood girls basketball team had a tough non-conference test on Wednesday against St. Joseph-Ogden.
The Comets could not match the offensive firepower from the Spartans as Oakwood lost 59-25.
Caydence Vermillion had 12 points to lead Oakwood, while Taylor Smoot and Mady Nicoson each had four and Gracie Hanner added three.
The Comets will hit the road on Thursday to play Rantoul.
