DANVILLE — The Schlarman Academy boys basketball team returned to action against Paris at the Topper Classic.
The Hilltoppers were actually up 14-13 after the first quarter had a 36-35 lead after the third quarter, but the Tigers outscored them 28-12 in the fourth quarter for a 63-48 win.
Peyton Kuemmerle had 16 points to lead Schlarman, while Miles Crosby had 11, Jerrius Atkinson had nine, Noah Fowler had five and Anthony Dye and Mark Lehmann each added four points.
Schlarman will play Milford and Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin in Saturday’s final day of the Classic.
