FITHIAN — After a rough Monticello Holiday Tournament, the Oakwood boys basketball team found a team to take out all of its frustrations on.
The Comets jumped out to a 21-5 halftime lead and went on to a 51-33 win over Watseka on Friday.
Jackson Dudley and Ben Darling each had 18 points to lead Oakwood, while Carsen Dudley added 11.
The Comets will host Hoopeston Area on Tuesday.
