A man sought on a warrant charging him with aggravated battery with a firearm is now in custody.
Danville police reported that on Friday evening at 4:45 p.m., the police department’s emergency response unit served a search warrant in the 900 block of Fowler Avenue. The warrant involved the arrest of 44-year-old Kevin Flight for charges stemming from an incident that occurred earlier in the week. In that incident, Flight is charged with shooting a 17-year-old multiple times.
At last report, the juvenile victim was being treated for injuries at a local hospital.
Due to the cooperation and assistance of the public, police officials said detectives received information for further investigation of Flight’s whereabouts, which led to his arrest.
