PLATTSBURGH — Peru and Willsboro wound up splitting the matchup, Friday, at North Bowl Lanes.
While the Nighthawk boys would sweep, 4-0, the Warrior girls returned the favor with a 4-0 sweep of their own.
On the boys side, Keagan Hemmingway continued his torrid pace for the Nighthawks bowling 229-274-194 to finish with a 670 series.
He’s been leading Peru this season with an average game of 220.
Hemingway wasn’t alone in the sweep. Hunter Garrand bowled a 605 series with games of 207-197-201.
Teammates Kayden Smith and Kalib Smith added series of 541 and 540, respectively.
Willsboro wouldn’t go quietly either, as Ashton Hathaway led the Warriors with a 419 series. Zauyar Rolston added a 414 series.
The Willsboro girls made sure to return the favor by sweeping Peru, 4-0.
Emily Mitchell led the Warriors with games of 193-178-222 to finish with a 593 series.
Autumn Pinney chipped in with 171-160-179 games to finish with a 510 series. Katherine Estus bowled a 350 series.
