A woman was rushed to a local hospital with serious injuries after she was hit by a vehicle on Military Road near Lockport Road about 5:20 p.m. Tuesday.
The driver of the vehicle remained on scene and Town of Niagara Police and the Niagara County Accident Investigation Unit were examining the accident scene.
Military Road is closed to northbound traffic at Lockport Road while law enforcement conducts their investigation.
