Parisella sworn in as District Court judge

BEVERLY — Jerry Parisella was sworn in as a District Court judge by Gov. Maura Healey in a ceremony in the governor’s office at the Statehouse on New Year’s Day. Parisella was the longtime state representative for Beverly and has stepped down from that position to become a judge. A special election will be scheduled this spring to elect a new state representative.
