North Georgia National Bank opened its doors on Feb. 10, 1999, in Calhoun.
Inspired by the leadership of an entirely local Board of Directors, the bank neglected the idea of a blind formula that places the fate of a decision in the hands of an office hundreds of miles away, but instead, focused on building relationships with each client to ensure the best product and service possible.
On Saturday, Feb. 10, 2024, North Georgia National Bank celebrated 25 years of banking that continues to be grounded in those same values. In recognition of this special milestone, the bank gathered its Board of Directors, staff members, community partners and vendors for a special celebration at Georgia Northwestern Technical College’s Gordon County Campus.
“We are so appreciative of all who, not only help us provide the very best in service, but also afford us the opportunity to give back to those in our community,” said Olivia Smith, marketing manager.
The bank operates two full-service branches and a mortgage center in Gordon County, as well as a full service branch in Whitfield County. North Georgia National Bank was the recipient of three 2023 Calhoun Magazine Readers Choice Awards: Best Bank, Best Mortgage Company and Best Bank Teller – Kiley Abernathy.
NGNB holds a 4-star “Excellent” rating with Bauer Financial. Cheers to 25 years!
