MOULTRIE, Ga. — The crowd was small but enthusiastic for Monday’s celebration of the Rev. Martin Luther King’s birthday in downtown Moultrie.
More than 20 vendors, from local institutions to food tables to mom-and-pop merchants, set up around the Colquitt County Courthouse for a four-hour celebration.
A few hundred people came out to see the parade, which started at 2 p.m. in the same area.
