The Fantastic Quilt Guild Quilts of Valor chapter of Fairfield Glade presented a Quilt of Valor to Johnny Marr Jr. outside the National Guard Armory in Crossville on July 27.
Janice Cahill and Ruth Hill presented the quilt. In attendance were his wife, daughter and friends.
Marr served in United States Army from 1985-93 and 2002-07. He also served in Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Marr was honorably discharged with the rank of E-5.
