JEFF HOUSTON, 25 years
Director of Golf
In April of 1991, Jeff Houston began his working relationship with Fairfield Glade Community Club as the assistant golf professional at Heatherhurst.
In 1998, he took the opportunity to open The Bear Trace at Cumberland Mountain. On Oct. 26, 1999, Jeff returned to Fairfield Glade as the head golf professional at Heatherhurst.
This commenced his now 25-year career of consecutive service to the Fairfield Glade Golf Operations and community ever since.
Throughout his tenure at Fairfield Glade, Jeff has been an exemplary golf professional and leader to his staff, the community, as well as growing the game of golf throughout the state. On Nov. 5, 2015, his leadership and service excellence was recognized through his promotion to Director of Golf.
Since becoming director of golf in 2015, Jeff has been instrumental in numerous golf renovation projects at Fairfield Glade. As a result, Fairfield Glade has experienced an incredible amount of rounds played over the five courses over the years recording on average over 150,000 rounds and serving over 181,000 players annually.
Jeff is known to inspire his fellow golf professionals through his work ethic, commitment to serving the community, and genuine support to ensure that everyone has an opportunity to succeed.
Under Jeff’s leadership, the golf program at Fairfield Glade has grown to annually conduct over 36 events, including the Ladies Invitational of over 215 players from 15 states, and the Member-Member tournament of 360 players.
The Tennessee Golf Association Sectional events hosted by Fairfield Glade include the Tennessee PGA Senior State Open, the Tennessee Golf Association Tennessee Women’s Open, the Parent Child, and the Women’s Four Ball.
Through these events Jeff takes the most pride in helping his local community through fundraising efforts. One charity Jeff and Fairfield Glade has consistently supported is Folds of Honor donating over $30,000 annually.
Over the years, Houston has served both the Knoxville Tennessee Chapter and the Tennessee Section including being a past member of the scholarship committee and the Knoxville representative on the awards committee. The recipient of the Tennessee Section 2018 Bill Strausbaugh Award and Knoxville 2012 Merchandiser of the Year: Public/Resort, Jeff is no stranger to being recognized for his commitment to excellence.
In fact, spend only a little bit of time with Jeff, and you will understand the passion and commitment he has to the game of golf. It is this passion for development, unwavering commitment to his fellow PGA Professionals and his community, and genuine love for the game that culminated in Jeff being named the 2021 Tennessee PGA Golf Professional of the Year.
Please congratulate Jeff on his 25th anniversary and for the professionalism and leadership he brings to making the golf program at Fairfield Glade the tremendous success that it is known for.

LISA BRAMBLETT, 10 years
Accounting Specialist
Lisa Bramlett started working for the finance department 10 years ago as a sales auditor.
Over the last decade she has been responsible for multiple things in finance and has become the “go-to” person in our department.
Lisa is contacted often by the sales locations when they have a question. She’s very familiar with the point-of-sale system, billing assessments, commercial sewer billing and golf packages.
Lisa has a pleasant, easy-going personality and is always willing to help when needed. She has signs on her door that say “Genius” and “Problem Solver” that were put up by a coworker after she was complimented by other departments and helped by solving a problem within finance as well.
Lisa has been especially helpful to me in the last year. She has trained new team members without one complaint. We are all grateful for her knowledge, experience and great personality and hope we’re lucky enough to have her in our department for a long time to come.
