ELIZABETHTON — After dropping their last two contests, Boquet Valley was looking for a win.
They found what they needed to top MVAC rival Willsboro, 59-25, Wednesday.
It was all due to the hot hands of Ella Lobdell and Claire Reynolds. The pair both scored 20 points, making 10 field goals each.
But, it wasn’t just the offense that was going for the Griffins. Their defense limited the Warriors to just nine field goals on the night as they were unable to find any rhythm.
McKinley Belzile led Willsboro with 11 points.
After putting a halt to a two game losing streak, Boquet Valley now stands at 2-3 overall. Willsboro drops to 1-3 on the campaign and returns home to face Chazy, today.
