EXETER — The 5th annual Exeter LitFest is scheduled for Friday, April 5 and Saturday, April 6.
The weekend kicks off on Friday night with a free jazz concert by Seacoast favorite Sharon Jones at the Exeter Public Library from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
For those who are looking to keep the night going, Town Exeter Arts Music (T.E.A.M) will offer an after-hours event featuring local authors and musicians at Foundation Art Space following the library concert.
New this year, is a family event at the Exeter Public Library at 11 a.m. with children’s authors Matt Tavares and Suzanne Slade.
The main stage author events will begin at the Exeter Town Hall at 1 p.m. with featured author Ilyon Woo, author of “Master Slave Husband Wife: An Epic Journey From Slavery to Freedom.”
This year’s keynote author, Andre Dubus III, will take to the main stage downstairs at 4 p.m. in conversation with Phillips Exeter Academy’s Matt Miller.
