What makes you proud to be an educator? I am proud to be an educator for many reasons; however, I find more pride in the students than in myself. Their hard work, growth made, and goals achieved are what make me most proud.
What has your experience in the education field taught you? My experience in the education field has taught the importance of building positive relationships with students in order to meet the needs of the whole child so that they can reach their full potential.
What do you enjoy most about working for Limestone County Schools? What I enjoy most about working for Limestone County Schools is being able to pour into the lives of students who are growing up in the same area that I grew up in. Additionally, I am proud to work in a district that values the importance of engaging, enlightening, and empowering students.
How do your students inspire you? The students at Creekside inspire me to find joy in the little things and persevere through the difficult things. They inspire me to come to school excited and ready to embrace each day.
What are your hobbies? I enjoy spending time with my family and friends.
