CUMBERLAND — No injuries were reported in a 2:30 a.m. Sunday incident at the U.S. Route 220 Park and Ride lot where a Hyndman, Pennsylvania, man drove his vehicle head-on into another vehicle and caused extensive damage, according to Cumberland Police.
Officers arrested Matthew Michael Logsdon, 47, on charges of attempted first-degree and second-degree assault, reckless endangerment and destruction of property.
Following the arrest, Logsdon was ordered jailed without bond by a district court commissioner, pending bail review Monday in district court.
Police said the victims alleged Logsdon kicked and damaged the windshield of their vehicle and tore off a sideview mirror before entering his own vehicle and driving head-on into the victim vehicle.
