Salem 7, Winnacunnet 6
Sophomore Abby Beeley‘s one-out single with the bases loaded, capped a three-run bottom of the seventh for the Blue Devils, who walked off on previously unbeaten Winnacunnet. Jenny Olson was a menace at the top of the order, going 4 for 4 with a triple and scoring three Salem runs. Beeley and Addie Lucier each added two hits and drove in a pair.
Junior Jaelynn Boretti earned the win, going four innings of sharp relief, allowing one run and striking out three.
Methuen 10, Andover 2
The Rangers exploded for nine runs in the second. Kiele Coleman paced the attack with a 4 for 5 day. Adriana Delaney, Bella Monsanto and Ari Baez all had two hits apiece for Methuen, which squares its mark at 5-5.
Concord 14, Timberlane 1
Audrina Cordeiro homered for the Owls, but that was all the offense Timberlane could muster.
Pinkerton 7, Keene 3
The Astros move to 9-0 as freshman Julia Caruso belted her third homer of the year. Winning pitcher Mollie Wheale, Maddie Schoenenberger (3 RBIs), Caruso, Paige Murray and Camryn McPhail all had two hits each.
Central 31, Lowell 3
Central moves to 7-0, and freshman Chloe Salerno picked up her first career victory in the circle. Salerno tripled twice and drove in five for the winners. Bella Boyer and Jillian Clements each had four hits in the win, combining for seven runs and six RBIs.
Brooks 2, St. Paul’s 0
Andover’s Jackie Giordano dominated in the circle, tossing the four-hit shutout with 11 strikeouts. She worked to 24 hitters, throwing only 85 pitches. Ella Puleo had two hits and drove in a run, while Kay LaLiberty drove in the other run with a sacrifice fly.
Baseball
Windham 11, Alvirne 5
Coming off a 7 for 10 week, Paul Armstrong showed no signs of easing up, going 2 for 4 and scoring twice from the leadoff spot. Chris Brearley, winning pitcher Josh Martino and Jason Sullo all had two hits for 7-3 Windham.
Winnacunnet 7, Salem 1
The Blue Devils could only muster up three hits – a double by Dom Toscano and singles by Ben LaGrasse and Patrick Ross – in falling to 1-8.
Concord 8, Timberlane 7
Timberlane just could not put away the host Tide, who rallied for three to tie in the bottom of the seventh and walked off in the eighth. Ryan Kontos went 2 for 4 to pace the Owls, scoring twice. Andrew Pantano and Keenan Hagerty each had a hit and drove in two runs.
Tewksbury 12, Central 8
Central was undone by seven errors as the Redmen put up nine runs in the final three innings. Brady Rickenbach had a double and drove in three for the Raiders. Matt Botto had two of Central’s eight hits on the day.
Brooks 4, Phillips 3
On Tuesday, Henry Hebert‘s two-run double was the difference. Andrew Martin struck out nine over five innings to earn the win for Brooks. Sophomore Michael Gilligan of North Andover tossed four scoreless innings of one-hit ball for Phillips but took a no-decision. Luke Gallo had three hits and Isaac Lamson added a pair for the 3-6 Big Blue.
Pinkerton 12, Keene 3
Hunter Brasier fanned five in five innings to secure the victory on the hill for the unbeaten Astros. Junior John Hanlon had two doubles and a single to drive in five Pinkerton runs. Leo Boucher had two hits and two RBIs.
Andover 10, Methuen 4
The Warriors bounced back from their 11-9 Tuesday loss to Chelmsford with the 17-hit barrage and the win over Methuen. Sean Napolatano had four hits, while Will Norris and Alex Berman each had three RBI’s to pace the Andover offense. Drew Puhlsifer threw six innings to pick up the win. Charlie Trapp stood out defensively for the Warriors.
The 1-10 Rangers got three hits from leadoff man Alex Santiago. Adriel Guillermo and Nolan Smith had two hits apiece for the Rangers.
North Andover 4, Haverhill 3
Down 3-2 early, North Andover got RBI hits from Troy Takesian and Jake Jackson to edge past the feisty Hillies. Sophomore Michael Phelps blasted a two-run homer in the first, his first career dinger. Luke Yorba earned the win with 2.2 shutout innings of relief. Dylan Lawrence locked it down with a strikeout for the save.
Volleyball
Central Catholic 3, Greater Lowell 2
The Raiders dropped the first two games, rallied back, then scored a thrilling fifth game to earn a 13-25, 18-25, 32-30, 25-22, 15-13 victory. Leading the way for Central Catholic was Jaithian Medina (13 kill, 25 digs, block), Aidan Herries (20 service points), Owen Fulks (13 kills) and Michael Nguyen (25 assists, block).
Lawrence 3, Billerica 2
The Lancers rallied from two matches down to force a fifth set that they won 15-7. Pacing the Lancers were David Castillo (19 kills, four blocks), Nilson Perez (45 assists, 12 service points, three aces) and Duy Tran (15 digs).
Greater Lawrence 3, Innovation Academy 0
Anthony Rubim led the Reggies with 16 service points, two aces, 22 assists and 12 digs. Keegan Doherty added nine kills and Kelvince Heang and Janiel Vizcaino each had one block.
North Andover 3, Haverhill 0
Leading the Hillies were Gabe Batista (nine kills, block, two aces) and Blake Garrison (24 assists).
Pinkerton 3, Farmington 0
The Astros improved to 4-4 on the season. Senior Trey Baker led the team with seven kills and senior Joseph Mandes added five kills of his own. Junior Parker Townsend added four aces. over the course of the match.
Windham 3, Farmington 0
Leading the Jaguars were Adam Ross (12 kills), Tomas Navratil and Noah Allan (three aces each) and Jack Begley (22 assists).
Girls Lacrosse
Pinkerton 10, Londonderry 5
Hannah Lisauskas scored four goals and added two assists as the Astros topped their archrival. Hailey Schnider scored two goals, Piper Knowlton had two goals and two assists and Sara DiClemente made 12 saves for the winners.
Lebanon 7, Pelham 5
Addie Breault made 11 saves in the losing effort. Katherine Carroll scored two goals for the Pythons.
Phillips 21, Dana Hall 10
Lauren Herlihy scored six goals, while Necia Smith and Caroline Young each scored twice for the Big Blue.

Central Catholic 3, Haverhill 2
Central Catholic swept doubles, with Michael Hamlin and James Diamantis (6-3, 6-2) and Owen Bergeron and Brandon Barry (6-2, 6-0) scoring wins. Haverhill picked up singles wins from Oscar Andren (6-1, 6-1), who remained undefeated for the season, and Miles Stapel (6-4, 6-1).

Earning wins for the Golden Warriors were Nik Narina (6-1, 6-1), Conor Rea (6-0, 6-0), Matthew Wang (6-4, 6-1) and the doubles teams of Hridai Dharan and Kian Keyhan (6-1, 6-0) and Cameron Nutter and Aarit Chauhan (6-0, 6-0).
Pinkerton 5, Londonderry 4
Amelia Coyle earned an 8-0 win at top singles, Gianna Ghanem won No. 3 singles 8-1 and Mia Rivard took No. 2 singles 8-2 to lead the Astros.

Anthony Terrile earned the Astros’ win, taking No. 2 singles (8-4).

Scoring singles wins for the Raiders were Kayleigh Furbush (6-2, 6-0), Meg Washburn (6-0, 6-3) and Kaya Asmar (6-0, 6-1). Doubles wins went to Ella Gregorio and Morgan Bateman (6-4, 6-3) and Alessandra Sacchetti and Melina Panagiotakopoulos (6-1, 5-2).

Earning wins for the Pythons were the doubles teams of Jessica Bevens and Kathryn Haley (8-2) and Olivia Squillante and Emmelee Coombs (8-4).

In a rematch of last year’s Division II quarterfinals, the Owls earned some revenge. In the end it took a dodge by Mike Savage down the alley, and a push to Rocco Psareas, who then drove hard to the back side, turned the corner and stuck it top left to seal the win. Jack Condon added three goals.
