KEYSER, W.Va. — All six of Hampshire’s golfers shot under 50 on Wednesday at Polish Pines Golf Course, leading to a team victory over five over schools.
The Trojans won with a score of 161, followed by Keyser (174), Frankfort (185), Moorefield (193), Berkeley Springs (198) and Pendleton County (218).
Frankfort’s Bryson Moorehead was the low medalist, shooting 36.
Peyton VanMeter, Cyrus Chaney and Landin Ludwick each shot 40s for Hampshire.
Parker Charlton (41), Brayden Hott (42) and Trenton Timbrook (48) rounded out the Trojans’ round.
Lucas Davy led Keyser with a 41, followed by Ryan Pratt (42), Braylen Blowe (45), Monk Garland and Ian Smith (46), and Evan Ack (47).
Gavin Corwell carded 47 for Frankfort, beating Landon Catlett (48) by one stroke.
Brennan Wharton (54), Ethan Gattens (56) and Liam Hunt (66) concluded the Falcons’ performance.
Kail Greenwalt’s 44 led Moorefield, followed by Tyler Miller at 49.
Dylan Colasessano and Tommy Parisi carded 50 while Veronica Carr and Marcus Creman shot 51.
Malcolm Johns shot a team-low 42 for Berkeley Springs while Owen Gray (49), Camden Barney (52), Jackson Davison (55) and Hunter Firi (59) wrapped up Berkeley Springs’ day.
Dylan Eye led Pendleton County, shooting 45, followed by Barrett Cook (52), Logan Fisher (59), Jax Bennett (62) and Alex Adams (66).
Frankfort played at the Oakland Country Club on Thursday against Fort Hill, Northern and Southern.
Hampshire played at Locust Hills on Thursday.
The Falcons and Trojans will join Keyser, Moorefield and Petersburg at the Berkeley Springs Invitational at the Cacapon Resort on Friday at 9:30 a.m.
