Glen Lake’s Houtteman finishes 3rd at GolfWeek Junior Tour event at MSU

EAST LANSING — Glen Lake senior Michael Houtteman, a two-time Record-Eagle Boys Golfer of the Year, took third place at a GolfWeek Junior Tour event over the weekend.
The tournament was played on Michigan State University’s Forest Akers West course. Houtteman shot five under par in his second round to finish at 3-under overall. His effort was good for third placed.
Jaiden Brown took second at 9-under, and Nathan Le-Nguyen was the overall winner with an 11-under tournament.
