DASHER — Georgia Christian School’s volleyball teams showcased their competitive spirit and skill with impressive victories recently, securing big wins in both middle school and varsity matches.
The middle school A team faced off against Scintilla and came out on top after a three-set match. The girls demonstrated resilience and determination, pushing through each set.
Not to be outdone, the varsity team took on Sherwood Christian in a nail-biting five-set showdown. The varsity ladies battled fiercely, showcasing their strong teamwork. After a hard-fought match, they emerged victorious, adding another win to their record.
The excitement continues this weekend as both middle school teams headed to Valdosta. They will be back in action on Saturday, with matches scheduled at 9:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m., and 1:30 p.m. .
The varsity team is also gearing up for more action next week. They will participate in a tri-match at Valdosta High School on Tuesday, with games scheduled at 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. The ladies are eager to continue their winning streak and bring home more victories for Georgia Christian.
With such strong performances, the future looks bright for Georgia Christian’s volleyball teams. The passion and perseverance displayed by these athletes promise an exciting season ahead.
