FROSTBURG — The Frostburg State University Department of Athletics and the Office of Alumni Relations unveiled six members of the 2024 Bobcat Hall of Fame Class it was announced Monday.
The new members will bring the total up to 237 inductees.
The Class of 2024 represents six different sports and is the ninth class to feature six or more members.
Michael Beckwith, the 232nd inductee, was a three-time All-American for the Bobcat Track & Field program.
He is the 63rd track and field athlete to be inducted.
Beckwith led the Bobcats to back-to-back national championships in 1986 and 1987.
He was the runner-up at the NCAA championships in the discus with a throw of 51.46m in 1987.
The throw remains the second-best in school history.
Zach Burkhardt, the 233rd inductee, represents the men’s lacrosse program.
He was a USILA All-American and Scholar All-American as a senior, and he holds the school record with 121 caused turnovers while leading a top 10 defense in the country in 2015.
Burkhardt was a three-year captain for the Bobcats.
Adria Graham, the 234th inductee, became the first NSCAA All-American for Women’s Soccer in 2012.
Graham led the Bobcats to a CAC tournament championship and NCAA tournament berth in 2012.
She is third all time in goals (59) and points (133).
Of her 59 career goals, 29 were game-winners.
She was a two-time Academic All-American and the FSU Female Athlete of the Year in 2011 and 2012.
Kylie Heyne, formally Harrington, is the 235th inductee.
She holds Frostburg’s all-time assist mark in volleyball with 4,576.
Heyne led the Bobcats to three straight NCAA tournament appearances, including a regional championship berth in 2010.
Heyne remains Frostburg’s most recent AVCA All-American.
Caitlin Lovend, the 236th inductee, is the first inductee for Frostburg softball.
Lovend holds program records in home runs (44), RBIs (164), walks (96) and slugging percentage (.785).
Lovend was a two-time Academic All-American and the Frostburg Female Athlete of the Year in 2014.
Guy Robertson, the 237th inductee, is the 50th representative of the baseball program.
He’s also the sixth coach inducted in any sport.
Robertson holds the second most wins in school history with 308.
He also holds the single-season record with 43 victories in 2015.
He led the Bobcats to three NCAA tournaments, including a World Series appearance in 2015.
Robertson coached eight All-Americans during his time in Frostburg.
The inductees will be honored on Homecoming weekend from Oct. 17 to Oct. 20.
