CUMBERLAND — Bishop Walsh, looking for its first City League win, led 3-2 over Fort Hill with three minutes left before halftime.
However, four unanswered goals gave the Sentinels (5-7-1, 2-2 City League) a 6-3 victory on Wednesday at Rowan Field.
Liam Hamilton recorded a hat trick for Fort Hill, scoring twice in the second half.
Lucas Evans assisted on two of Hamilton’s scores while Grant McElvie assisted on the other.
McElvie scored the game’s opening goal off a Hamilton assist.
Ofek-Cohen Inbar scored for the Spartans (2-11, 0-4 City League) off a David DiNola assist.
David DiNola scored off Jackson Miller’s assist, then Miller found Hamelin with about five minutes left to give Bishop Walsh a 3-2 lead.
Anthony Palumbo tied the score at 3 off an assist by John Reinhardt with just under three minutes left before halftime.
In the second half, Hamilton scored back-to-back goals before Vincent Largent ended the scoring off a Palumbo assist.
Bishop Walsh outshot Fort Hill 27-14 and 14-10 in goal.
The Sentinels had a 4-3 edge in corners.
Leland Garcia recorded 11 saves for Fort Hill while Minh Lee finished with four for Bishop Walsh.
The Spartans host No. 5 Frankfort (10-3-2) on Thursday.
The Sentinels move on to the Class 1A playoffs and will be the No. 4 seed in West Region I.
