The Salem High senior running back rushed for five touchdowns and 215 yards in the first half alone, as the Blue Devils crushed Dover 63-13.
Todisco scored on TD runs of 8, 40, 92, 22 and 9 yards.
Chris Goss tossed a 19-yard pass to Jack Marconi for the final TD of the first half, giving Salem a 42-13 lead.
Among the second half TDs included a 55-yard run by Jordan Zannini.
Salem is now 1-2 with the win.
Salem 50, Greater Lawrence 41
Gustavo Varela did all he could to help the Greater Lawrence football team pull off a win Friday night at historic Bertram Field.
The rocket fueled junior tailback ran for 231 yards and scored four touchdowns, including one on an electrifying 81-yard run.
But for all of Varela’s offensive feats, the Reggies couldn’t stop Salem when the hosts had the football.
Now 2-1, the Reggies were playing catch up from the time Salem recorded a safety early in the second quarter, giving the hosts an 8-6 lead. The teams traded blows back and forth from that point, but the Witches always managed stay an arm’s length ahead.
Varela had scoring runs of 20 and 50 yards in the second quarter in addition to his kickoff run to paydirt. He added his fourth score on a 12-yard scamper in the third quarter.
Greater Lawrence kept it close in the fourth quarter, with Gabriel Colon catching a 12-yard TD pass from quarterback Zion Padilla (6-for-11, 106 yards). Elizardo Melencinco then returned a kickoff 73 yards for another six points with 3:55 remaining, but Salem recovered the attempted onsides kick.
Down nine points, the Reggies had one last offensive possession, but a fourth down pass from the Witches’ 49-yard line fell incomplete.
Alvirne 48, Timberlane 20
The teams were tied 14-14 after the first quarter, before Alvirne went up 20-14 at the half, and then opened things up with three touchdowns in the third quarter to remain undefeated at 3-0, while the Owls fell to 0-3.
Alvirne’s Mike Landmesser had a career night with five touchdowns and 133 rushing yards.
Pelham 24, Hanover 0
The Pythons defense earned the shutout, while the program boosted its winning streak to 44 games.
Junior MacKinnon and Ben Maslanek both finished with 100-plus yards rushing and and one touchdown. Justin Bowlan also had a rushing touchdown.
Wachusett Regional 31, Lawrence 0
The Lancers (0-2) couldn’t get anything going offensively, falling in a non-league contest.
