VALDOSTA — Six people were left homeless after a house fire Thursday in Valdosta.
Around 2:16 p.m., firefighters headed to 604 Lynn Terrace on a report of a structure fire, a statement from the Valdosta Fire Department said.
They found smoke and flames coming from the windows of a single-family residence.
Everyone in the house got out safely before the fire department arrived.
Six people were displaced and received assistance from the American Red Cross.
