Fire damages LaVale apartment

LAVALE — A fire at a Braddock Road apartment building early Friday was sparked by burning incense, the Office of the State Fire Marshal said.
The 1 a.m. fire at 1100 Braddock Road caused about $1,000 damage and no one was injured.
The resident of the apartment involved was not displaced.
