After three weeks on the job, Keith Bucher has suddenly resigned from his post as Fairfield Glade Community Club’s chief executive officer.
FGCC Board President Greg Jones made the announcement to the FGCC membership via e-blast early Wednesday afternoon.
Jones said Bucher “resigned due to urgent personal matters effective immediately.”
He added, “We wish Keith all the best in his future endeavors.”
Bucher joined the FGCC senior management team in late June.
His first day on the job was June 24.
Bucher succeeded Amy Kincaid, who parted ways with FGCC in December.
Former Community Club Director of Finance Jonathan Goodman had been retained to work as interim chief financial officer in January.
Upon making the announcement of Bucher as CFO, the Community Club said Goodman would stay on the job until July 31 to assist with the transition.
Jones said Club Leadership Alliance will provide interim chief financial officer services until a new candidate is hired.
He added that Bill Ward, FGCC general manager and chief operating officer, and the board have engaged GSI Executive Search to conduct a search for a new CFO.
“We will share background information regarding our new Chief Financial Officer as soon as a qualified candidate is identified and brought on board,” Jones added in the e-blast.
“Thank you for your support and we assure you we are working hard to see that the financial administration of Fairfield Glade Community Club functions seamlessly during this interim period.”
