HAMBLETON, W.Va. — No. 4 East Hardy fell to Class A’s top-ranked squad Tucker County, 59-40, on Monday night.
The Mountain Lions (7-0) led 19-10, 34-20 and 47-33 after the first three quarters. Trevan Bonner scored a game-high 20 points for Tucker, and Garrett Wilfong (13) and Mikey Mitchell (10) also finished in double figures.
Jordan Teets topped East Hardy (4-3) with 17 points, and Gideon Good added 13.
Good has scored in double figures in all of the Cougars’ seven games.
East Hardy is at Petersburg (3-2) on Friday at 7:30 p.m.
