Noah Blouin
Amesbury, Jr., LJ/Relays
Broke out as by far the best long jumper in the area this winter. Posted his personal best at the Division 5 State Championship Meet, leaping 20-3.50 to reach the podium and place fifth. Also placed fifth at the State Meet with the 4×800 relay team (8:45.54). The next-best long jump in our area this year was over a foot shorter (19-0). Improved his long jump at every regular season meet, going from 17-7.25, to 18-4.75, to 18-10 and then finally to 19-5 before the postseason meets. Also competed in both the 300 and the 600. Placed seventh in the 300 at the CAL Open in personal-best time (37.47). Had a season-best of 1:30.41 in the 600. His work during the regular season helped Amesbury (4-0) defend their CAL Baker championship. Has also been a three-year varsity member for the soccer team during the fall.
Josiah Fugate
Amesbury, Soph., Distance
Elite distance runner continued his success after being named a Daily News Cross Country All-Star this fall. Finished with the second-fastest time in the area in both the 1000 (2:46.47) and the Mile (4:37.43), and had the fourth-fastest time in the 2-Mile (10:43.86). Was ninth in the Mile at the popular MSTCA Frosh-Soph Meet (4:48.63). Had both the best Mile and 2-Mile time of anyone in the CAL during the first league meet of the year. His work during the regular season helped Amesbury (4-0) win the CAL Baker title for the second straight year. Moved on to the CAL Open and placed second in the 1000 (2:46.47), while also running on the third-place 4×800 relay team (9:09.08). Ended season at the Division 5 State Meet, where he placed fifth in the Mile (4:37.42) and fifth with the same 4×800 team (8:45.54).
Jalen Wise
Newburyport, Sr., 600/Relays
Will now head into his final spring season as both a two-time Daily News Indoor and Outdoor Track All-Star. Finished the winter with the fastest time in the area in the 600 (1:23.04), as well as the third-fastest time in the 300 (36.80). That 600 is good for second all-time in Newburyport history, while his 300 is good for third all-time. Never lost a 600 race to anyone in the league. Newburyport quad-captain claimed the 600 crown at the CAL Open (1:24.40), and also ran on the third-place 4×400 relay team (3:36.38). Moved on to the Division 4 State Meet and was second in the 600 (1:23.04), ninth with the 4×200 relay (1:37.27) and 11th with the 4×400 relay (3:43.49). Ended his indoor career by reaching the podium at Meet of Champions, placing sixth in the 600 (1:23.81). The Newburyport Honor Roll student also plays soccer during the fall.
Jackson Beauparlant
Pentucket, Sr., 1000/Mile/Relays
Stalwart varsity track member put together impressive final indoor season. Had the fastest times in the area, by far, in both the 1000 (2:38.92) and the Mile (4:26.19). His 1000 time was over eight seconds faster than the next in our area, while his Mile time was 11 seconds faster. That Mile also set a new Pentucket record. Was second in the Mile at the CAL Open (4:26.19), and also second with the 4×400 relay team (3:33.26). The Division 5 State Champion in the 1000 (2:38.92), who also took ninth with the 4×400 (3:39.65). Was then 13th in the Mile at Meet of Champions (4:26.52). Also a member of record-setting Sprint Medley Relay team. The unit took third at the Division 5 State Relays (3:41.07) and ninth at Nike Indoor Nationals (3:42.30). They then ended the year breaking the school record at Adadis Track Nationals, posting a 3:38.17 to place third and earn the title of Adidas All-Americans.
Owen Corkery
Pentucket, Sr., Sprints/Relays
Had the second-fastest time in the area in the 55-meter (6.75), and the fourth-fastest time in the 300 (36.95). That dash performance is second all-time in school history for the Pentucket Regional Honor Roll student. Also a member of the 4×400 relay team that broke the school record (3:33.26) to take second at the CAL Open. Individually, was a double-event placer at the league meet with thirds in both the dash (6.76) and the 300 (36.95). Moved on to the Division 5 State Meet and was 10th in the dash (6.80), ninth with the 4×400 (3:39.65) and 13th with the 4×200 (1:38.71). Also a member of record-setting Sprint Medley Relay team. The unit took third at the Division 5 State Relays (3:41.07), and ninth at Nike Indoor Nationals (3:42.30). They then ended the year breaking the school record at Adadis Track Nationals, posting a 3:38.17 to place third and earn the title of Adidas All-Americans.

Multi-year varsity member who took a major step forward this winter. Finished with the fastest 300 time in the area that broke the Pentucket school record (36.03), and also had the third-fastest time in the 55-meter (6.79). That dash performance is third all-time in school history. The CAL Open Champion in the 300 (36.03). Also took fifth in the dash (6.83) and was second with the 4×400 relay team (3:33.26) at the league meet. Moved on to the Division 5 State Meet and was fifth in the 300 (36.41). Also a member of record-setting Sprint Medley Relay team with Jackson Beauparlant, Owen Corkery and Steven Harper. The unit took third at the Division 5 State Relays (3:41.07), and ninth at Nike Indoor Nationals (3:42.30). They then ended the year breaking the school record at Adadis Track Nationals, posting a 3:38.17 to place third and earn the title of Adidas All-Americans.
Jack Lyman
Triton, Sr., 300/600/Relays
Enjoyed true breakout senior season. Put up the second-best times in the area this year in both the 300 (36.42) and the 600 (1:24.84). That 600 time broke the Triton school record, and was put together at the Division 5 State Meet for a fifth-place finish. Also ran on the third-place 4×400 relay team at Div. 5 States (3:34.64). Was second in the 300 at the CAL Open (36.51), and ran on the winning 4×400 relay that broke the school record (3:33.02). Both of those finishes by the quad-captain helped Triton place fourth as a team at the league meet. Ended season placing 17th in the 600 at Meet of Champions (1:25.85). Posted the fastest 1000 time of any CAL athlete during the first meet of the year (2:54.60). The Triton Regional Honor Roll student also runs cross country during the fall.
Scott Holscher
Triton, Sr., Sprints/Relays
Stalwart senior went out having his best career indoor season. Finished with the fifth-fastest times in the area in both the 300 (37.01) and the 600 (1:28.20). Won the 600 during the opening meet of the season (1:33.31), then won the 300 in a clutch team victory over rival Newburyport (37.48). His 4×400 relay team were crowned CAL Open Champions (3:33.02), and individually he also took fourth in the 300 (37.01). Both of those finishes helped the Vikings place fourth as a team. Also, that 4×400 — alongside Harry Pike, Everett Romano and Jack Lyman — broke the school record. Moved on to the Division 5 State Meet and was 13th in the 300 (37.21), and third with the 4×400 relay (3:34.64). Triton Regional Honor Roll student also plays soccer during the fall, and is now participating in spring track.
Cassidy McBee
Triton, Soph., Distance
After beginning his high school career with back-to-back appearances on the Daily News Cross Country All-Star team, the elite distance runner now earns his first All-Star nod for winter track. Posted the fastest 2-Mile time in the area this year (10:20.55), and also the third-fastest times in the Mile (4:44.32) and the 1000 (2:48.40). Was a double-event placer at the CAL Open, helping the Vikings finish fourth as a team. Took second in the 2-Mile (10:20.55) and was also fourth in the Mile (4:44.32). Moved on to the Division 5 State Meet and just missed out on reaching the podium, putting together a ninth-place effort in the 2-Mile (10:23.94). Earlier in the season, was 10th in the 2-Mile at the MSTCA Frosh-Soph Meet (10:36.31). Won both the Mile (4:53.99) and the 2-Mile (10:35.48) to help the Vikings beat rival Newburyport during the year. Is a High Honor Roll student at Triton.
