The Cherry Valley-Springfield/Sharon Springs boys soccer team rallied from an early deficit to defeat Unatego/Franklin 2-1 on the road Thursday in Tri-Valley League action.
Jacob Kingsbury opened the scoring in the first half for U/F thanks to an assist from Isaac Wright.
Tyler Houk then scored both goals for CV-S/SS in the second half off of a pair of assists from Kris Cade.
Brian Duncan made three saves for CV-S/SS while Calvin Butts made seven stops for U/F.
CV-S/SS (6-2) will host Laurens/Milford next Tuesday while U/F’s (6-2) next game will also be against Laurens/Milford at SUNY Oneonta on Saturday.
Morris 12, Richfield Springs 1
Morris rolled to a 12-1 home win over Richfield Springs on Thursday.
Leading the attack for the Mustangs were Carter Swayer with three goals and an assist, Ryan Murphy with two goals and four assists and Jonah Baldo with two goals and three assists.
Also adding goals in the win were Ty Turner, Levi Waffle, Lucas Waffle, Matt Schiller and Matheus Martins.
Yurem Santis had the lone goal for Richfield Springs.
Morris (3-3) will be at the Margaretville Tournament on Friday while Richfield Springs (0-5) will visit Schenevus next Tuesday.

Margaretville rode a four-goal second half to a 5-1 win over Windham-Ashland-Jewett on Thursday.
Hunter Balcom netted a hat trick in the victory while Robert Sass and David Sanchez had a goal apiece. Jayden Palumbo was the goal scorer for WAJ.
In net, CJ Fairbairn made six saves for Margaretville while Bryan Jimbo had nine stops for WAJ.
Margaretville (2-4) will face Delhi on Friday.

Natalie Amadon scored five goals to lead the Charlotte Valley girls soccer team to a wild 7-4 Delaware League victory over Gilboa/Roxbury on Thursday.
After Charlotte Valley went up 4-0 early in the second half, G/R responded with four straight goals to tie the game.
But Amadon’s fifth goal with 10:45 to go proved to be the go-ahead tally and Hayden Marino added two insurance goals in the final seven minutes.
Scoring for G/R were Brooke DeMaio, MiKayla Wright, Kelley Kalleberg and Addy Hynes.
Charlotte Valley’s Lila Waid made eight saves while Ashley Haslam stopped nine shots for G/R.
Charlotte Valley (3-3) will host the Chic Walshe Tournament beginning on Saturday.
Schenevus 2, Gilbertsville-Mount Upton 0
A pair of first-half goals helped Schenevus defeat Gilbertsville-Mount Upton 2-0 on the road Thursday.
Addie D’Ambrosio and Sam Barrett each scored for the Dragons, with Barrett adding an assist.
Leah Brundege made one save in the win while Alyssa Sorochinsky and Alexis Davis combined to make 20 saves for the Raiders.
Schenevus (5-3) will host Oneonta on Friday while G-MU (1-6) will be in action at the Chic Walshe Tournament in Davenport on Saturday.

A pair of goals in the second half propelled Sidney to a 2-0 win over Newark Valley at the Greene Tournament on Thursday.
Nayla Miley and Chloie Taylor were the goal scorers for the Sabers with Miley and Alex Neubert notching assists. Paige Duchnowski made six saves to earn the clean sheet.
Sidney (4-2) will face either Greene or Bainbridge-Guilford in Saturday’s final.

The Oneonta golf team defeated Sidney 207-228 in Thursday’s match at Ouleout Creek Golf Course.
Dylan Brislin shot a career-best 37 to lead the Yellowjackets while Jackson Frazier followed close behind with a 38.
Oneonta’s other top scorers were Landon Weaver (40), Kason Miller (45) and Britten Zeh (47).
Leading Sidney were Colton Rose (42), Reece Yeomans (45), Anthony Conroy (45), Connor Van der Sommen (47) and Caidyn Lambrecht (49).
Oneonta will host Susquehanna Valley next Tuesday while Sidney will host Deposit-Hancock on Friday.

Delhi fell to Greene 224-246 in Thursday’s Midstate Athletic Conference match at the College Course at Delhi.

Cooperstown/Milford hosted a Center State Conference cross country meet on Wednesday that features Mount Markham, Dolgeville and Little Falls.
Jonah Hitchcock placed second with a time of 20:05 to lead the C/M boys. Jacob Johnson (third, 20:25), Hu Agostino (fifth, 21:33), Owen Capozza Flannigan (sixth, 21:40) and Brendan Heavner (seventh, 22:22) also placed near the top of the leaderboard.
Leading the girls race for C/M were Nora Craig (third, 25:01) and Olivia Temp (fourth, 27:35).
Cooperstown/Milford will be at Waterville next Wednesday.
