Crossville’s own Leslie Letner is currently second overall in the senior division of the Tennessee Women’s Golf Open currently underway at Stonehenge Golf Course in Fairfield Glade.
Letner shot a 78 Thursday to finish the day at 7-over par. She is two strokes off the lead of Cheryl Fox of Tiffin, Ohio, who shot a 76.
Play has already started today at the course.
Other Crossville golfers are doing well. Jean Kraft is tied for fifth in the senior division after round one with an 87. Rhonda Switzer-Nadasdi is seventh and Suzi Rhodes is 12th overall.
Murfreesboro’s Isabella Johnson leads the championship division of the tournament after she fired a 3-under par 69 Thursday. She leads Allie Knight of Knoxville by one stroke.
