West Point’s varsity girls put together a disruptive defensive performance on Thursday night, downing Cold Springs 57-38 to advance at this year’s Cullman County Basketball Tournament at Wallace State.
The No. 3 and Class 5A No. 6 Warriors (19-3) led throughout the contest against the second-seeded and Class 2A No. 2 Eagles (21-4) en route to corralling their 13th consecutive victory.
West Point, which also held Cold Springs to one of its lowest point totals of the season, will play top-seeded Good Hope in the championship game on Saturday at 5 p.m.
